1. This week was a rough one, but one that ended on a high note, which I'm thankful for. I'm also thankful that it's the weekend.
2. I finally dragged myself back into an exercise routine this week, which was a rough reminder of the balance that has been lacking from my life lately. I haven't been taking care of myself, and between getting back to paleo/clean eating and exercise, I feel so much better.
3. I'm always so amazed at how much easier life gets when I clean up my act. Cutting out all dairy, all but very natural sugars (I will never give up maple syrup and honey), most alcohol, and most grains may be difficult, but it's so worth it when my skin magically clears up, my sleep improves, and the inflammation in my knees subsides.
4. I really love November and I can't wait to get to work making gifts for people this year. I feel like I've learned so much already at work, and I'm so excited to recreate some of the DIYs I've done to give to family and friends.
5. There are apple egg muffins in the oven right now and I'm desperate for them to be done. All I've wanted to do lately is bake. I'm in a baking mood and I think it's the weather.
How was your week? How are you? Along with baking, I've been in a major shopping mood. Trying to hold off because of the holidays, but that doesn't mean I'm not dreaming. Here's what caught my eye this week + some really good sale info:
Cute over the knee socks.
How gorgeous is this vintage knit cape? It would look beautiful with a navy sweater, jeans, and vintage campus boots.
I'm a sucker for vintage macrame plant hangers and this one is in-cred-i-ble.
Love the philosophy behind this company, and how awesome are these moon phase yoga leggings?
How insanely cozy does this outfit look? That sweater...
Two of my favorite Free People styles are on major markdown at Nordstrom -- I've had my eye on this cardigan forever, and this teddy bear sweater, which is pretty much the coziest thing to ever exist.
A DIY wreath for the holidays.
Save 30% off your total purchase at GAP! Including the best bra ever.
One of my favorite bloggers just started selling on Etsy, it's all so cozy!
This was making me incredibly happy this week.
So obsessed with these boots in black.
Just found this awesome Etsy shop through Instagram, so much amazing jewelry and all for a great cause.
Daylight savings time is driving my cat crazy -- also, it's pretty pointless.
Forever 21 is having a huge 50% off sale + free shipping. I have my eye on this cardigan, this sweater, and this jacket.

This series makes me laugh so hard. On point.
