Mojito Hued

In this outfit:
Dress c/o Ruche
Shoes c/o Lulu's
Belt: J.Crew (old, sale)
Bracelet: ModCloth (old)
Earrings: Erica Weiner

I received this pretty dress last week from Ruche, and promptly over thought it. The first time I wore it, there was way too much going on, sometimes a dress is a dress you know? It doesn't require a layered crop top or a denim vest and tons of jewelry, it just needed a little burst of color.

The weather this week has peen pretty lovely, we bought a little grill at Target yesterday and have been enjoying our porch more than ever. It makes me so happy that we didn't end up finding a new apartment this summer, I love lounging on the porch on my days off with a book (and wine).

A short post today, because the sun is calling! Have a wonderful day!

It's gorgeous, and totally a mojito colour! I agree that dresses shouldn't be overthought, but enjoyed on their own terms!

That midi length looks great on you! Whenever I wear a dress for the first time, I like to keep it super simple...I'm not exactly sure why. Maybe so it can shine for its debut? :)
