Part of me feels a little funny posting such a...schleppy outfit. But, this is real life, and this is what I wear when I'm writing product from home. Once a week or so, I take a big box o' stuff home from work and hole myself up for the day to blast through the descriptions. It's a nice feeling of accomplishment when I'm finished, if a bit isolating, so I make sure to get out, grab a coffee, and see other humans for a little while.
I found these jeans while unpacking a box of stuff a few weeks ago- a weird mix of hangers, vintage men's clothing, and Chris's stuff- and decided to try them out. Since then, they've officially become my new hang-around pants, about 1,000 times better than sweats.

dang i wish i was tiny enough that men's jeans fit me. they look so comfy! but my big badonk would not let that happen. ha.
hope you have/had a productive day! you look so cute and that always helps me get stuff done.
LOVE the pants! Awesome, awesome, awesome.
I dig it. I'm currently working from home wearing my dude's uniqlo hoodie and some leggings (let it be known-this is England and the weather is complete shit!). sometimes you just need to be comfy.
i love you hair :-)

Love, love seeing relaxed outfits. I work from home every day - so for me this is super relatable + you still look gorgeous & fabulously chic!
When I'm in the mood for a little menswear inspired look - I love stealing Martin's jeans from time-to-time! ;) Hope your day is fab, Julie!!

What is your work that you do at home? Etsy shop?
Chaucee, I work for ModCloth as a Blog and Fashion Writer (meaning that when I'm not writing blog posts for the company, I'm writing the product descriptions) :)
That looks like the most amazingly comfy outfit, perfect for doing stuff from home xo

i love this look! I'm all about comfort these days and boyfriend jeans are perfect!
Well, I love it, and I seldom post casual things either. You look pretty rocking for working from home, I usually get let down by my pale and staring face on those days. :)
i totally have these days, and i think they are CHARMING. doesnt part of you love yourself looking slouchy and cozy? i love that u posted this! :)

How do you make this outfit look so good?!
When I used to work from home (for a crappy phone job) a rarely took my pjs off...
I love this! I think you look great. Even dressed down you have a lot of style.
you are so cute, all the time. and, maybe this is a bit strange to say, but you are extremely likable! Just the way you 'talk' on your blog, and the fact that you post casual, normal, day-to-day outfits...you come off as really sweet and genuine. Just wanted to say so. :)
you look great in this - even if it's 'schleppy' -- wish i could rock a pair of bf jeans like that!

Blue Roses: I can totally get behind the David Byrne comparison!

slouchy style is my favorite! you still manage to look feminine and cute even in a somewhat androgynous outfit - major jealousy!
I totally understand how you feel. I recently debated a post because it was just jeans and a tee, but I also felt like it was the honest thing to do. I appreciate your honesty as much as I love this outfit. These types of looks are at my core. An oversized pair of jeans, a good tee, and sneakers? Probably the only outfit that I wore in junior high, high school, college and as an adult. The tees might change (I no longer sport the bloodstained NOFX tee outside of the house) but it's basically the same.
Love it. Sometimes nothings better than cons, boys jeans and a good old fashioned t-shirt.
Nice clothes... But I like the model more <3
Love this! Something I totally want to wear right now.
I love that jeans too! Sometimes I wear jeans when working at home.
Nice =)
