I love the simple power of an easy outfit dressed up with a statement shoe, the easiest thing ever. You all know how much I love the combination of blue, black, and brown, but this day my favorite conglomeration needed something...more. So, I added my most insane shoes, which I assure you, I can not walk in for the life of me.
I've been on the fence lately with my hair. On the one hand, when I take the time to style it, I love it, but of course, when I don't, I can't stand it. It gets caught in car doors, wraps around my neck when I sleep (yeah), etc. I don't know. Maybe it's just this time of year. Or maybe the joy of waking up with my freakishly long hair wrapped around my neck is wearing off. Life is full of mysteries.

I have similarly long and thick hair and grapple with the daily debate on whether or not to just ditch all of it for something... simpler.

My hair is not quite as long as yours and even it drives me wild sometimes. I have to tie it up in bed, otherwise it's a total nightmare! Don't cut it though, it's too gorgeous!

you're hair is just gorgeous long. i just chopped off my hair and i just love it! i chickened out the last time i got it cut & regretted it, so i knew it was time for it to go. when it's time for a change, you'll know it and i am sure it will look SO pretty short too!

There are few things I love more than a simple but chic outfit with an amazing pair of heels or a great bag. These heels are fantastic!
As for hair, I can't say I've ever known the feeling of waking up to my own hair wrapped around my neck, but my boyfriend has dreads (really long dreads) and sometimes I wake up with one or two across my head or pillow!

I love the shoes, why can't you walk in them? And about your hair; mine is not long but there is a lot of it and it's big. I sometimes braid it before bed. I do love your hair it is beautiful but at the end of the day you need to make you happy. I sure do love your hair though.
I know what you mean about the hair, I used to have long hair. I used to take all my hair & put it up overtop of my pillow & out of my way when I slept, so it wouldn't bug me & be tangled in the morning.
I've had medium/short hair for a good 5 years now & I'm thinking of growing it out again. I remember it being great, but you've just reminded me that it can be a challenge at times too.

And you have the most gorgeous hair. But I understand what you are saying. My hairs starting to get pretty long, and sometimes I daydream about chopping it off.
Your hair is so amazing, but I also relate to what you are saying. When ever I tell my friends I want to change my hair they will tell me not, but I'm sort of bored with it. Have you considered ombre hair? I know it is a little over done, but it would be incredible on your long, thick hair.

I've been having similar qualms about my long hair, although yours is several inches longer. I've resisted getting a haircut in almost three years and I'm wondering if it's time to bite the bullet and that maybe my hair doesn't seem to settle in place because I havent had a good haircut. Arg! At least yours is straight, it's so much more difficult when it's a wavy thing going on.
Your hair is gorgeous! Though I have hair that's almosssst that long though so I know how it can get annoying. For example, now whenever I cook i HAVE to put it up or else. Hair in food is NO good.

I say cut it. You've had this beautiful, luxurious mane for a long time now, and it is definitely both of those things! But just because something is good doesn't mean it shouldn't be changed. If styling is a hassle and not-styling is a hassle, it sounds like you might really appreciate a beautiful, sophisticated, short cut. A short do can be beautiful and luxurious too. You've loved and appreciated your hair, as has everyone else. It's OK to let it go. Personally, I think you'd be stunning with something short. And in the midst of all your new changes, what's one more?
