This is the epitome of the perfect outfit to me. Lots of vintage, lots of comfort. Sweater that could double as a blanket if need be. Seriously, this thing is massive. I picked up this big bad (bold) sweater last weekend at the @Micknmarianne pop-up up in Old City at Meadowsweet Mercantile. I'd just finished up volunteer training at PAWS (bring on the cats!) and wandered over to say hello, fully expecting to walk out with something amazing. It's pretty hard not to with those vintage powers combined. With everything going on right now, I've found myself seeking a greater connection to the city I'm in, and feeling a greater appreciation for city living in general. So many people! From so many walks of life! On this particular Sunday, I started my day learning about caring for Philadelphia's most vulnerable animals, connected with some of the city's best vintage sellers, and finished my day throwing axes with a bunch of rad ladies (really!) at Philadelphia's very own Urban Axes axe throwing range. If that doesn't make you appreciate how rad Philly is, I'm not sure what will.
