This dress is one of those items in my closet I doubt I will ever part with. For a leopard print dress, it's surprisingly versatile. I'll admit though, that the idea to layer a collared shirt underneath isn't mine. My work-friend wore a very similar outfit a couple of months ago, and I ripped it off. Do you take inspiration from your coworkers or friends?
I'm in a little bit of a rush out the door today, but if you're curious, you can check out how I wore this dress in February 2010, and October 2010!

It's devastatingly beautiful outside today, go out and enjoy it!
PS- Texas tomorrow! I have an interview up on the Texas Style Counsel blog, you can hop on over there to read more about me if you want!

Love this leopard-print dress- so cute! And I just read your interview on the Texas Style Council Blog! It was great to learn even more about you and I so wish I could attend. Plus I'm still kicking myself that I missed the chance to meet you at the Lulu's event last month- hopefully you'll be in NYC again soon :)
I love this fun dress! You are really rocking it. The denim shirt just brings out all the unexpected blue in the pattern.
I'm still so in awe, chica. You blow me away with your outfits.

That dress looks amazing on you!
I love clothing that never has an expiration date!! I have somethings since middle school!...actually it probably is time to part with them....
I'm not usually too into leopard print, but you always pull it off nicely. Something about the tawny hair I think! Speaking of which, I really like the bangs-pinned-back look on you!
Denim and leopard is one of the best combos ever, I love the outfit and the cool jewelry you added!
your hair is looking so good, lady! don't do anything too drastic in texas this week :)
Oh yes a great outfit! it's true, at first sight the dress doesn't look very versatile to me, but well, it really seems to be!
and yes, of course i take inspiration, but rather from friends/people i see in the streets/bloggers than from coworkers - the company I work for is rather let's say unstylish but very friendly and great!

loving this entire look

Leopard print! Ow Ow! What girl doesn't love it. You look gorgeous!
I love the idea of putting a denim shirt under such a dress--and I am going to copy it too :)
Oh Target, who would have thought that that would quickly become one of my favorite stores? You can seriously find some surprising finds there!
But anyways, that dress is seriously fab, I wish I found that among the racks :/
Ok random question- but what kind of camera do you use? I'm in the process of buying a new one and the selection is overwhelming
I love the pop of color the shirt adds to this outfit, so cute!

You pull off leopard print so well! That's a print I'm not quite daring enough to try. Were you ever afraid of prints that really stand out?
I have to admit though, my favorite part of this outfit is all the accessories. On me it would just look busy, but you look so casual with them on!
So pretty, as always.

some of the best inspirations are from my co-worker and friends. we all rip each other off and share notes, it's the best!
It doesn't matter where the idea came from, it looks great! Blue and leopard print isn't a combination you see very often either, which makes it nice and refreshing.
Ooh my comment forgot to leave my blog address (never hit enter to early!) - I don't know if you can edit comments?
Sheer leopard over denim? GENIUS!

I really like how you layered the leopard print dress over the utilitarian denim shirt. I shall be saving this to the inspiration file...

yesterday, i paired a leopard cardigan, also from target, with a chambray dress with a collar.... very similar effect. cowgirl meets downtown style.
