Another Abstraction

Sweater: ModCloth
Ithica Abstraction Skirt c/o Ruche
Tights: AA
Necklace: Swapped
Shoes c/o Lulu's

The weather here has been so strange, I'm definitely not used to having little-to-no snow in January. We had a little snowstorm last week, but the snow you see in these photos is long gone. I love snow, especially when I have nowhere to be on a snowy day, it's so cozy. Mostly, i fear that the delayed weather will just prolong winter. Because, as much as I love snow, I also really love Summer and warm weather!

Anyways, A friend passed down this little sweater to me last week, and I can't get enough (you'll be seeing it again
next week). I love it paired with high-waist, longer skirts, playing with proportion can be a great way to break out of your comfort zone. I've also found myself wearing these shoes a lot, the blocks of color pair so well with so many things in my closet. It doesn't hurt that most things in my fall/winter wardrobe consist of shades of blue-grey, mustard, and shades of mauve. They're definitely a high heel, so in case you're wondering, i recommend re-enforcing all close-toed, high shoes with lots of Dr. Scholls, it makes a world of difference!

I love this outfit...I'm a sucker for that burnt orangey mustard color especially mixed with those color block heels. I hope that the barely no snow doesn't mean blizzards in April. :) -Lo

I love this outfit! I think it's one of my favorites of yours lately! I love seeing longer skirts/dresses in the winter paired with new silhouettes.

It looks like you have a little bit of Lynch Park next to your heart. I owe you a call! No snow here either - I thought of you yesterday as seagulls flocked around the (empty) parking lot.

How weird, I was just looking at lion necklaces on etsy last night! This one is awesome. I love the shape of that sweater too. Anything mustard colored is right up my alley!

This outfit is right up my alley! I love the colors, and your choice of fun accessories!
You must have taken these photos in a shaded area with that snow on the ground! I'm here in Pittsburgh, and can't wait for the snow on Friday. It makes for such lovely photos.

That mustardy color is my very favorite! Your outfits have been sooo inspiring lately. Actually I'm wearing my only midi dress today because of you.

I'm totally worrying about the delayed Winter too. If this means Winter in May then I'm gonna freak. It's so weird.

Insoles are like my dirty secret. Often when I buy a new pair of shoes, I'll buy some insoles at the same time. They really do help! Those shoes are so pretty that they might be worth a little pain, though. :)
