This is one of my all time favorite outfits, as someone who usually gravitates towards more neutral tones, I love how bright it is and I love the pop of leopard print these amazing boots from Lulu's provide. This is what I wore a couple of weeks ago to the Boston Fashion Week Sip & Swap with The Swapaholics, but completely neglected to get a shot of. I'm glad I waited though, I was so sick during that event, and my hair was a disaster. For the past year or so, I've been pretty ambivalent about my hair, since leaving my old job at The College I just didn't have the money to put into it anymore and allowed it to grow. It wasn't until about a month ago that I finally got fed up: my "ombre" (ha) style was starting to look like a weird hat and the ends were destroyed beyond belief from a year and a half of straightening, curling, etc. Things had gotten out of hand, and the only style I could wear it in was a (admittedly bodacious) topknot on top of my head. This past weekend, I spent four hours in the salon chair of my friend Kristin, and am happily back to a warm reddish brown, with lighter highlights, and clipped ends. Certainly not an enormous change for some, but I feel so much better! I have a lot of plans for this blog over the next few months, one of which is getting back to my hair tutorials! Are there any styles you want to learn how to do?

I swear to never highlight or dye my hair because of the costly keep up!! My friend is a platinum blonde and it feels like she's always going to the salon... Before I read your post I noticed how gorgeous your hair is!! It looks amazing -- but I always have thought it looked amazing :) I'm sure it feels better to you though!! What are some of your favorite ways to make long hair curly??

That lion door knocker necklace is fierce! I also loooooooove all your colors! You're right, usually you are more neutral (which is great)--this is a nice switch up for you! I love the bold orange and pink!

Love your new hair! Colour is great, and looks super healthy!! My hair was in a similar state (long, blonde bits growing out) and I got mine cut and coloured on the same day! Be great to see some new hair tutorials. I get sick of wearing my hair out, and need some ideas on how to wear it, rather than falling back to the ol' ponytail. It's a bit uninteresting! Any ideas would be much appreciated!

I love the color of this dress! I'm also leaning to more neutral colors, but red-like colors like this always have been an exception. It's great for fall also!

As for hair tutorials, I'd love to know how you get all that hair up into a loose topknot to begin with!! My hair is a bit longer than yours & I can't get it to stay in any loose manner without pulling & falling & giving me a headache!
