Wow, did anyone else get completely pummeled with snow? Our town seemed to receive the brunt of it in our county, I can't tell exactly how much we got though because of the snow drifts: in some spots it only looks like a couple of inches, and in some spots it's a few feet high! Chris and I spent the morning digging ourselves out. Literally, we had to dig out the front door! We then dug out the car, and then helped dig out the plow truck because even it got stuck! I'm thankful that I don't have to be in to work until five tonight, hopefully by then the roads will be cleared up. We're STILL not plowed out though. When we awoke this morning, all of our windows were completely incased in snow, I still can't see out the living room windows. Hello, winter!

I couldn't help but have Chris take my photo in front of one of my outfit photo walls, even if my outfit was less than stylish: Sorel boots, AA riding pants (warmer than jeans), Gap jacket (quite old), Chris beanie. Any Northeast lady in her right mind owns a pair of Sorel's- extra points if you have a pair of tread chains on them- they're the warmest boots, I couldn't live with out mine!
Did everyone have a good holiday weekend? Mine was great, we had a wonderful Christmas with a bonfire, family, and good food. I can't wait to head North again for New Years!

wow! that is intense. I'm not gonna lie though, wish it snowed here where I'm at. looks like fun! ^,~
Wow, that's crazy. I've never experienced snow so as beautiful as that looks to me it's also incredibly daunting.
I can't believe you're still expected to go to work! I live in SC and we got 3 inches late Saturday/early Sunday and pretty much everything was shut down yesterday. I would never survive a northeast winter. I hope you stay warm! :)
i cant believe how much snow the east coast got! so many friends are stuck trying to get back from the holidays. hopefully you'll get a warm spell soon and it'll melt. nothing is worse than old, frozen, compact snow that won't go away!
It's insane over here in NYC!! The snow is atleast 3 feet deep, ugh..
I thought mother nature was getting into the holiday spirit but she's just plain pissed off.
I think you got even more snow then we did over here in Peabody! I gotta get me a pair of Sorel boots. I keep meaning to then forgetting until days like today...
Stay warm!
xx, Katrina

This is so funny! All this snow on the east coast is crazy! But I love it:) You look so cute in your snow gear!
Wow all that snow! And I thought we had it bad. I really need to get me some Sorels, I just wish they looked a bit more chic...
That looks just like up here in Finland! I love snow and cold and winter!

I'm intrigued as to how you can dig out a front door if it's snowed shut. Regardless, that is bucketloads, but it looks kind of fun once in a while!
SO much snow!! I bought Sorel's this year for the first time since I was a kid. They are life savers! Love them.
That is some serious snow you got going on! I simply love winter : )
I LOVE the photo of the plants hanging in the window. So cozy.
Wow
Something about snow is so magical
I hope your roads are cleared soon, it seems in London we never know just how to react to the snow even when we know its coming
i totally wish orange county looked like this right now... even if only for a day. ;)
So jealous...I go to school in Boston but I live in Southern California...second year in a row that it's started snowing immediately after I came home for break. Sadness...I want a white Christmas!
yes! we got about a foot of snow here on long island. big snow drifts too though. it was crazy conditions, so windy. today was crazy windy too. i spent all day inside even though i was suposed to go to work!
NJ got pummeled too....you still look adorable no matter what you wear....looks like a lot of snow but still fun...I love snow. Dawn Suitcase Vignettes. Stop by on Thursdays and check out Thursday's thrift.
Oh my gosh, we haven't seen anything like that this year! It actually looks really fun - teheee! You look wonderful in the snow!
Look at you posing in the snow, so funny! You are seriously committed.
Hey, I stumbled upon your blog through delightfully tacky :) Laughed when I read your header, "big hair small wallet :) looking forward to seeing more posts from you :) Good job on the blog. keep it up :D
That looks so much like the storm we had a few weeks ago (I posted some photos of my car entirely covered)...it took us hours to dig out!
Hope you had a great holiday!
Wow, the first pic looks sooo scary!!
that's a LOT of snow! We got like 2 inches at my house, but there were 8 inches in the county that I work in. And for this area, that is HUGE. Stay safe and warm!
Whoa. So much snow. Tieka and I were just talking about how crazy it is the east coast got hit so hard with snow and there's hardly any in Michigan right now. And your winter wear is practical and cute, loves it.
This snowstorm was crazy but so cool! It was amazing to sit inside all day and watch it fall and then try to trek through it the following morning. Although, I was lucky not to have to go out for work so I think I liked it more than some other Bostonians. - Katy
Hahah these photos are so funny! SO much snow. Luckily I was away on vacation for the bulk of this snow storm, and by the time I got back, my driveway and sidewalk had all been plowed.
These are amazing photos...and you are most definitely a style blogger to be snapping photos when it's up to your knees!
wow! talk about a winter wonderland! i wish it snowed in western australia!!
