With out further adieu, the hair post I've been procrastinating on is here! For this style you'll need: a teasing comb or brush, hairspray or surf spray, and bobby pins. Your hair can be washed or dirty, mine was freshly washed for this. Have fun!

My hair posts will now be once a month, so if you have questions on how to do a style or ideas for a future post, be sure to email me! The first how-to post can be read Here.
Have a great weekend!

So cute! I think it shower curtain is awesome!
You are so lucky to have fantastic long hair!! I often do this hair-do but i can do the curls bc my hair is to short. I Love how you rock it!
too cute!
my hair is in that mid-length stage of growing out so i wonder if this would work to help with the weird/hard-to-style phase. gonna have to try it out! thanks for the how-to!
Love this post! Look forward to future awesome hair posts!
Gaa! Curse my short curly hair!
This is great. So pretty, I wish i looked good with long hair!
Thanks for this, I just wish my hair was longer so I could do this to my hair.
Love this hair on you!
Oh my god, this is totally amazing! I cannot WAIT to try it out!!! Thank you :)
good call on the overnight high bun, my poofs always fall, but hopefully this well help the roots a bit next time! Thanks!
btw, totally awesome shower curtain!
Awesome tutorial! One question though, does it hurt to comb out all of that teasing? I have wicked thick hair like yours and want to give this a try.
i have to say, my favorite step is chillin' with the cat...that is so funny! :D i have a dog though..so i guess i'll chill with him...hehe.
i'd love to try out the tutorial but i can't tease my hair for the life of me..i'm too scare i won't be able to comb it back. got traumatized as a kid..:D
Awesome, now I can make my hair huge! I can't wait!
You look fab, by the way, and that scarf in the last two pictures is beeeeatiful.
LOVE this tutorial! You make it seem so simple... really wish my hair looked as good as yours does!
you are awesome for posting this! i have just now tried and ive almost got it but in the process i have created a seriously monsterous rats nest of tangles from all the teasing. am i doing something wrong? any tips to avoid or lessen this?
You're making me miss my long hair! As much as I love mine, I really miss being able to do a bunch of different stuff with it.
I love the poof, and teasing. It can be dangerous though. Much love!
oh this is just faaaaabulous... love your bouffant!
i'm starring this post in my google reader so I can be sure to come back to it and try it sometime! muchas gracias!
I Love your How-to but I love more your shower curtain. it that a new method to learn french ? Because I want the same to learn as well English !!
Great tutorial, you make it seem fairly simple and manageable, I'll be sure to try this when it's warm enough to go out without a hat:)
P.S. I totally covet your hair!
you're adorable! I love this!
Cute post!!
that bun is fabulous
btw just found your blog and I love it! you have an amazing sense of style, would you like to trade links?
Thanks for this!
I totally do not have long enough hair at the moment but I'm inspired to try teasing mine more. Your hair always looks fantastic.

What a great tutorial! Maybe I'll have to go try this today!
nice tutorial. since my hair is somewhat short I'll just sit around with a cat and skip the other steps
I'm definately going to save this and try it sometime. My hair is probably too short to be able to do it right now, but maybe when I grow it longer I will have to try it. I really like your hair.
You make it look so simple but I have a feeling I will screw it up somehow ;)
Great tutorial!! I suspect it's not quite as easy as you make it seem thought! I'm glad you're doing these once a month, can't wait to see the next one :o)

huh. how cool! i not only love the tutorial, but i love that your sense of humor comes out in it. i'd follow your easy, alexi-proof steps except i'm way too lazy with my hair. maybe one day, when i've got some extra time (which is never...) haha. i look forward to the monthyl tutorials though!

Hey! I tried this tutorial this morning and I must say, for someone who doesn't really "do" their hair ever this was actually pretty easy!! I think you've inspired me to work on my hair a bit more! Can't wait for the next!
You can sorta see it some of the pics on my blog!
i looooove your hair tutorial! it's fabulous!
Ah this is so awesome! I think my hair might soon be long enough to try this out. Thanks for the tutorial :)

Wonderful! can't wait to try myself. Annie.
Julie, I have never had such hair envy in my life!!! :)
Your hair is so gorgeous! It is taking painfully long to grow mine out!
I love this style! I'll definitely have to try this style out the next time I straighten my hair (it's currently curly).
Love the tutorial. I will have to try when mine grows back.
love the tutorial!
I love the pictures! Thanks for the tutorial! I will have to give this a shot once my hair is a little bit longer.
so damn pretty! the middle part looks cute as well!

i miss my long hair :(
This is awesome! I just found your blog because you're featured on Have A Cute Day. I love your style and I am totally going to try this out with my hair!

Your hair makes me happy to be alive.
love this and also, love your SHIRT! where did you get it?
So I tried this the other weekend & basically every girl at work told me how amazing my hair looked ... most told me multiple times. Later when I went out the bartender asked me if I was wearing a bumpit which I thought was a hilarious win so thank you so much for posting this =)
hey you should also try aquage sea salt spray.
it smells amazing and i liked it better than the bumble and bumble on my hair.

Great tutorial! Might try this for a formal dance I've got coming up on Friday. Keep up the hair tutorials - I know I can't be the only person who loves them.
ALL of your hair styles are too cute. If only my hair was longer ):

wow, I love this hairdo and I love the way you've presented the tutorial too<3 and also the cat time! haha! my cat would love 'special cat time'.
I'll definitely try this but I worry that my hair is so heavy and longer than yours, the bobby pins won't hold it up :( Which is sad because despite my hair being long and heavy, it looks thin on the top which I hate (I think it's the colour, it's all one colour and quite blonde)
Gorgeous!!!!!!! What is the kind of coloring in your hair called? It looks amazing
