In From the Cold

In this outfit:
Jacket: MinkPink c/o Lulu's Swap in Austin
Dress: MinkPink/ Nasty Gal ($30 sale)
Tights: American Apparel ($14)
Earrings: Vintage/ Avalon ($6)
Bag: Vintage Coach/ Thrifted ($10)
Bracelet: Thrifted ($2)

Where I wore it: to the office and out for a drink after work

Despite how bright the sun was on this day, it was incredibly cold. A far cry from today, which they predict will reach into the high sixties.

While selling at Avalon a few weeks ago, I found these amazing beaded vintage earrings. It's funny to me that I'm wearing earrings again, I used to love huge, ridiculous earrings when I was in college. Like, hoops the size of your head huge. This time around, I'm opting for something a little more unique and a little less 80's-meets-2003.

This outfit is just perfect. I love the earrings, although I don't think I'd have the courage to wear them...

Love those earrings, fairly sure I had the same pair when I was like, 10 years old (my family owns a Native American Jewelry store) and seeing those took me right back to summer camp and wearing those earrings every day.

Love this look.

Those earrings are so incredible. I still have some hot pink hoops that I'm trying to figure out how to wear without looking 80s-meets-2003. :)

It is seriously so nice outside today! I just wish I weren't stuck in classes all day.
About your outfit, I love the wash of color from that gorgeous scarf and those beautiful earrings.
Really wonderful.

Also, I've been meaning to get myself some tights from AA, but are the $14 worth the quality? I mean, is the quality good?

Orchid Grey said...

Rose- yes! I've had these AA tights (and almost all my colors) since 2010, well worth it!

I really dig the color of your tights. I have lots of different colors I play around with. Plus, I wear my hair like that a lot (especially on "dirty" days). Great post!
