You Gotta Be Kitten Me!

Cardigan: J.Crew
Dress: ModCloth
Wedges: ModCloth
Tights: Old (gift?)
Belt: from a Lulu's dress
Necklace: Thrifted
Bracelets: gift from Punky & F21

Yep, cat wedges. I don't think it's too much of a secret how cat-obsessed I am, one look at my Instagram or Twitter and you'll see about 90% of it is just photos of Zephyr and Zeb. So when these wedges showed up on ModCloth last week, I immediately bought them. They're so ridiculous, I could not be more in love. Do not be alarmed if an entire cat-themed outfit shows up soon, it's that bad. I have no shame, no shame at all.

I've been loving longer lengths lately, I think long skirts and dresses are just easier, and also really pretty. Despite my predilection for really high shoes, I don't like being incapacitated by my clothes (like short skirts). I like to move, and I like to move quickly. I've been told by many, many people that I walk too fast, bordering on running at times. I like to think I'm efficient. But anyway, yeah, long stuff. One downside is that I look like a granny when I head in to work: I have my winter boots on, long vintage (read: old lady-ish) coat, and long dress peeking out the bottom. It's not even close to cute. I crept in to work like this last week, and unfortunately had to pass by a bus full of high school students on a field trip, I don't think they were impressed. Whatever, at least I don't have to ride a school bus.

I've pretty much filled up my instagram with pictures of my dog in various outfits. It's too hard to not take a giant load of pictures when an animal is around! Also, I love your cat boots! I want more things with cat prints on them!

LOVE the wedges. I saw them on Modcloth the other week and did a doubletake because I thought they were camo (not something I'd expect from Modcloth).
I'm obsessed with cats too. We have a fat orange one and a little black and white kitten. They rule our apartment :)

I was actually checking out Modcloth's shoe offering's recently, saw these and thought of you!

Love the boots! They are weirdly functional in their neutral tones and indistinguishable pattern from a distance.

i am cat obsessed as well. in addition, my family keep buying me cat apparel and home goods. as in cat slippers, a crazy cat lady board game, cat mugs, cat ornaments, etc. cats are the best.
love that dress, by the way!

I bet you don't look as granny-ish as you think, or if so, then like a real cool granny.

love it! these wedges are so deliriously deranged, i cannot even stand it.

these are the type of shoes that are so ridiculous, you must wear them with everything.

I am so glad I'm not the only "Cat Lady" in her twenties! I love your new wedges and can't wait to see an entire cat themed outfit post. I have the same problem you do on my walk to work! My long down coat (read: I look like I'm wearing a sleeping bag) and huge clunky snow boots are not sexy in the least bit! Then again I'm not riding a school bus either so I'm in good shape!
