Jacket: J.Crew (last year)
Sweater: from Veronika
Top: American Apparel (old)
Jeans: Urban Outfitters ($9 in-store sale)
Booties c/o Wanted
Bracelet: Swapped
Earrings c/o Noble Town Vintage (2011)
Bag: Thrifted/ Vintage Coach ($10-ish?)
Beanie: Brixton (Chris's)
Where I wore it: Sunday brunch date, running errands around town
We had every intention of doing something interesting on Sunday- maybe hiking, going to a museum, checking out something cool and new- but then we slept until 11, so brunch it was. Whoops. Winter provides the perfect excuse to be lazy, and layers provide the illusion of a put-together outfit.
I picked these jeans up on a Saturday evening shopping date, certainly not an everyday pair, but the different silhouette was a welcome change to my usual skinnies.

I think that these jeans are super flattering on you. Hair is amazing and the sweater that Veronika gave you is so cozy and lovely. Clicked over from instagram. Dawn suitcase vignettes
despite rhetoric, denim on denim can be quite chic. i love a nod to the timeless ‘american co-ed’ silhouette – denim, wool, long strap leather bag, sensible walking shoe, etc. dig it.
We're half twinsies today. Same boots, my favorites!, and I'm wearing bell bottoms too :)

I really like your 70s inspired outfits.Beautiful coat!
How do the booties fit? Are they narrow or wide? Snug at all? I want to buy a pair online but there are no reviews. Don't know if I should size 1/2 up or down...or buy them in my size. Any info would be appreciated! ~ Kim
Anon (Kim): The booties are very comfortable, I would say they're normal width and fit true to size. I always add insoles to my shoes, so the extra Dr. Scholls makes them a big snugger around my heel and ankle which I actually prefer. The glitter seems to be well adhered and the faux-suede is actually passable. They seem like they'd last awhile too. Hope that helps and thank you for reading!
let me know if there's anything else I can tell you about them!
Thank you for the info on the booties! Yes, it does help. PS: I love your style. Oh, and your hair. I have straight flat hair. The volume of your hair makes me want to buy bottles and bottles of volumizing shampoo. ~ Kim
I love the tiny surprise sparkle on the shoes! :)
i love those jeans!!!
