Comfort

In this outfit:
Jacket: UO ($30, 2010)
Sweater c/o Ruche
Tee: Target ($7)
Shorts: Swapped/ chopped
Tights: American Apparel Super Opaque ($25)
Boots: Jeffrey Campbell "Rumi"

Where I wore it: To the office

I've been wearing different iterations of this outfit for the past week or so, between the rainy weather and feeling like I'm coming down with something, I've just wanted comfort. I unpacked all my sweaters and fall clothes this past weekend, and there's really nothing better for a day where you just want to be comfortable than a cozy sweater.

How's your week going? The trees have really started to turn this week, so I'm looking forward to hopefully going on a couple of foliage hikes within the next couple of weekends.

Happy Wednesday!

I recently thrifted a sweater really close to yours! The weather is still to hot here to where it, but I can't wait!

Love that sweater! That's a perfect rainy go-to outfit. I love the simple layers. Very chic. It's been super rainy here in NYC, so I've been just trying to get to work and back without getting soaked, ha.

Love this sweater. It's been raining a lot here in VT. The temperatures are so up and down every day so its typical fall layering. The leaves are also very pretty right now. I'm having a good week. Work and mellow evenings as I've got a lot of fun weekend plans and its my birthday Saturday! Have a great Wednesday!

That sweater looks ridiculously comfortable! My week has been going well...we're just about at peak colors here in Michigan, much to my delight :) I haven't really seen much of Pittsburgh in autumn - you'll have to share photos!

I love this look. I need to start wearing my cut-offs with tights now that it's cooler out.

I love that necklace!! Shorts with tights are one of my favorite outfits. I always forget that's an option.

Love your smile, love your style..... and I love those shorts...... must have them. And, your hair is so very lovely.
I"m an american guy traveling through Europe this fall.....13 years in ballet, and a lover of all fashion.
I am adoring your style of shorts over tights......... my new friends over here have encouraged me to try the style myself....
I know, I"m a guy.... but being in ballet for years, I'm used to prancing around in tights...and I have very long hair...and I'm quite small....so I think that many people who see me wearing tights and shorts just think I"m a girl.....
It's cool...I'd rather be fashionable and love how I look than try to fit in as a "guy"/
I promise to follow your blog... you're so stylish, but also I think you're very pretty.

I absolutely love that sweater! Also, your layers look fantastic. I just started an internship, my first office job, and I've quickly learned that comfy clothes are an essential.

Lovely casual outfit! I have a lot of 70s ones like that and I am certainly saving your look for inspiration!

Julie, I really love this outfit on you. It has such a relaxed vibe(which is what you were going for) but is still very stylish. I may have to borrow your idea. I will give you credit when I do. Hope you don't mind. dawn suitcase vignettes
