Sweatshirt: Thrifted by Chris (the man has an eye)
Shorts: Swapped
Cons: Little's on Forbes

I had a perfect, low-key kind of weekend: Much cooler weather, a rainy Saturday spent at a few thrift stores (I found a plaid, vintage wool maxi skirt, a Pendleton midi skirt, an oversize sweater, brown flats, a grey wool blazer, and that Stanley thermos above), a much needed closet clean-out, a walk through Frick Park with a stop to stare at the dogs (there were two bulldogs, Chris was swooning), baking cookies, two new books to read (The Paris Wife and Jack 1939), and lots of quality time spent with Zephyr, who followed me everywhere. Did you have a relaxing weekend?

I love that part in Frick Park where the trees part and all of Pittsburgh opens up to you from a treetop vantage point. Beautiful pictures.
Sounds like a lovely low key weekend. We spent our Friday night at the annual Southend Art Hop event which includes open studios, live entertainment, performance and much more. A total blast! Saturday after work 9 hours my husband and I went to a low key birthday party that included a night of playing games. We spent Sunday checking out yard sales, sitting in the sun and making homemade pasta. Later we had friends over for our pasta dinner. Today is so cool Autumn like, I'm loving it! Happy Monday!
Oooo I would be so psyched to find that sweatshirt! I'm a coke fiend and always enjoy vintagey-looking nods to my favorite vice :)
lovely pictures!

I love, love, love the simple way you dressed and that you still managed to make it look like a million bucks. You are a fashion superstar.

This brings back memories of 5th-6th grade when (pre-advertising awareness) I bought all my school supplies with the Coca-Cola logo. What can I say, a local shop carried an impressive array of file folders, notebooks, etc.
I still love accents of (now non-branded) cherry red in my otherwise white and charcoal grey decor. It wakes up my brain!
Your weekend sounds like heaven. I caught up on sewing and started packing for a trip! Wish I'd had a cat to help out!
jealous of your cooler weather! love the sweateshirt!
