Casual Day

Cardigan: J.Crew outlet
Shirt: Ralph Lauren thrifted
Jeans: Madewell High Riser
Loafers: Ralph Lauren thrifted
Bracelets: F21

I don't post many of my super casual outfits on here, usually because they're all the same (and because I'm probably woke up five minutes before I had to leave which is why I'm wearing the casual outfit in the first place). But I liked this one, the combination of mustard yellow and light blue was pleasing, especially with shiny black loafers. Man, I love a good loafer. I've been wearing this pair to death.

After a few weeks of different variations on this same outfit, I've been making a conscious effort to plan my outfits ahead of time. I definitely got off track with my sleep schedule during the holidays and I've found that having an outfit waiting for me when I wake up make all the difference in the world with how my morning goes.

Do you plan your outfits ahead? or do you like to pick them out as you go?

I love seeing fashion bloggers in some of their more casual outfits as it makes them seem a bit more real to me.

I really like this look! Yes it is casual, but the cardigan color and buckle loafer shoes add something a little bit different. Thanks for sharing!

Whether I plan or not varies based on what phase I happen to be in. I haven't planned ahead in quite some time and it makes a noticeable time difference in the mornings. I need to start working ahead again!

i used to pick my outfits out in advance + paint my nails to match in highschool, but since then the outfits are decided on the fly as i wake up in the morning. it is nice to have something waiting for you, and i am changing jobs next week and will be waking up much earlier, so i better start picking them in advance again too!

I really like this outfit, it's casual but still chic! I just thrifted some loafers like this and I love them! best $3 I ever spent.

Hey, this is a lovely casual outfit indeed! I usually plan my outfits for the next day, I find it much easier as I like the 20 minutes extra it gives me in bed! When I have to choose what to wear in the morning, it takes ages and the result is less than satisfactory: I am simply not awake enough and it usually puts me in a bad mood for the day! But it does happen that when I put it on I don't actually fancy wearing that anymore... x x

I actually really enjoy your casual outfits, since I really love casual looks in general. This combination, cardigan and blouse with turnded up cuffs is something I've been wearing an awful lot lately as well, but it's always better than a hoodie (which I sometimes wear on the really bad days ;)

Because my mornings are very early, and sometimes my mornings are done before my husband wakes up, I pick my clothes out the night before, so my outfits are chosen right down to the jewelry! I think it helps me to a) pick out something different all the time, and b) stay fresh and new.

I always intend to plan out my outfits. Does it usually happen that way? Well...not so much. Haha! On the days that I do, though, it makes such a difference. I feel like I approach my whole day feeling much more prepared...and I do like the extra minutes of sleep :)

i don't live with my boyfriend but i spend more nights there. so i get dressed the night before (lots of time to plan), wear it for a couple hours and then put it on again the next morning. it saves so much time in the morning!

Well, I think this looks great. :) I hardly ever plan my outfits ahead of time.. Unless I just happen to think up something that I think would look good. But most of the time I just stand in front of my closet for awhile until something happens. haha
