Last Thursday I got up bright and early and headed into Boston to meet up with Punky. We were both invited to the TjMaxx/Marshalls Spring Preview at the Ames Hotel. A big fan of TjMaxx myself, I was very excited to see what they had in store for Spring, even though the weather is still brisk and snow occasionally falls, I'm in the mood for bright florals and pretty spring dresses! Each theme was displayed beautifully, and Punky and I had a great time sifting through the racks and finding our favorite pieces:

There was so much I would have bought right there and then, I especially loved the floral and nautical racks.
So, Chris and I headed North for this past weekend, and of course I couldn't resist stopping at the TjMaxx near my mom's, they always have the greatest stuff! Chris was perusing the sunglasses when he found, not one, but two pairs of Ray Ban Polarized Wayfarers for $59! He wears Wayfarer frames as his glasses, and I've always wanted a pair, and there they were! Even better, I had a couple of gift cards that needed using. I've never had a fancy pair of sunnies before, it's safe to say I'm excited about it.

I, too, have so many dresses and rompers in my closet from TJ Maxx waiting to pulled out, again, in the Spring. I've added more since. :) I just can't wait!

Hi, I love this post about Tj Maxx one of my favorite places to frequent. It is dangerously close, about 2 miles from my front door. You look great in them!!! My Husband totally found a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses on the sandy bottom of Bear lake in perfect condition. someone must have lost them waterskiing or something.score for us though.

I love the Wayfarers on you. I found some great knockoffs at Rite Aid, but nothing beats the real thing.

julie- i'm sure this is a long shot since this is a few weeks old, but which location is the tj maxx you scored those at? i live around boston too, and i'm always looking for a TJ's with really good stuff. (fyi, if you're ever in cambridge, the TJ Maxx at fresh pond has some pretty awesome designer stuff, although still out of my price range ;))

Unfortunately, I got them way outside of boston at the Tj's in North Conway, NH. I've heard from a couple of other people that they've seen ray bans elsewhere though, happy hunting!
