We had the most beautiful fall weather this weekend, it was perfect! I don't have much to report on the activity front, Chris and I have been so busy lately that it was nice to just have a normal, no hassle weekend. Sometimes running errands with Chris is way more satisfying that going on crazy adventures. We kept it low key and went out to breakfast, made a trip to Savers (I haven't been thrift shopping in like, a month!), and went grocery shopping. And yesterday I cleaned our messy apartment, thrilling, huh? I did really miss just being home for a weekend though.
Fall is definitely my favorite season, I love the crisp mornings and slightly warmer afternoons. The changing leaves, too. The foliage around this little shack where I take pictures is changing too. The woodbine is turing red and the greens are fading. Fall is my favorite season style-wise, too. I love being able to layer, experiment with texture, and the colors. This is what I wore out to breakfast-which was more like lunch because it was 12pm- on Saturday with Chris. This camel skirt is my new favorite basic (you'll see it again later in the week), I'll admit to spending more than I should have on it, but I've already worn it six times so I guess it's justifiable. Camel has definitely been on my radar this fall, it's a nice alternative to straight-up brown, and way more versatile. I paired it with one of Chris's plaid blanket/shawl/scarfs, and some green tights. The whole outfit kept me warm against the crazy fall wind on Saturday!

There's still time to enter the Bearcat Vintage giveaway! Don't miss out!

If it wasnt for the camel skirt you'd almost blend in with the rest of the background. Such pretty fall colors, Im still getting used to seeing them haha. I went to Salem over the weekend! Ps. I work on Newbury and Charles street this week :-).

You are fall to the max! I agree that fall is my favorite season. Its been getting pretty cold pretty fast here and I've been looking for ways to keep warm without breaking out all the winter accessories yet. wearing a shawl tied with a belt? genius!! ♥

This is a FANTASTIC fall outfit! I love the idea of taking a cozy scarf and wearing it like a shawl with a belt. Also, the green tights are great.

I am such an enormous fan of shawls, and you look lovely in this one. Love it belted that way... isn't it a bit complicated to do anything with your hands though? : )

i love this, and i'm very curious as to how you've put the scarf on? is it tied or fastened by the belt?
I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS OUTFIT! Especially the cape & tights! I NEED dark green tights like that in my life asap.. it's been my favorite color for this year! Love love love.
I absolutely love the setting in these pictures! I'm from Arizona and we don't get to experience fall quite like the rest of the country, no pretty color-changing leaves here. But it's very nice to see once in a while! :]

I love the idea of the shawl and knotted belt. Never thought of that!
Very clever shawl usage... you look like a postcard for autumn. Though I suppose there are no such thing as seasonal postcards but if there were... it would be all you for fall!
This is the perfect fall outfit. I love it!
