Thanks for sticking with me last week as I took a brief break from blogging, there have been a lot of big changes in my life lately and I really needed to step back and concentrate on everyday life for a few days. One of those changes was that I lost my terrible, 5 year old Moto Razor phone last week, and have finally been forced to upgrade to an iPhone 4. I love it! The photos that I'm sharing below of my weekend activities (not my outfit) were taken with the camera, which is amazing. Along with a new phone, the biggest change is that I got a new job, too. It came about rather unexpectedly and I'm still adjusting, but I'm now working in Boston as a visual merchandiser at American Apparel. It's refreshing to not be stuck behind a desk all day, and to be doing something so drastically different from my last job. So, yeah changes!

Anyways on to my weekend and my outfit! I love this time of year when you can wear thick sweaters and long-sleeves with shorts, this is the kind of outfit I could very easily live in. Even though this outfit is so casual I love how classic New England it is with the sailor stripes and Sperry Top Siders, perfect for an autumn day. That's right! My favorite season has finally hit, fall! While we were driving yesterday you could see the trees are starting to make the change!
I had a (mostly) relaxing weekend, yesterday Bea and I took a drive out to Northampton, MA to meet-up with our friend Sophia, who just started law school in Vermont. We hadn't seen one another for over a year and it was great to just walk around and catch up. We ended up meeting up with Brendan, and essentially eating our way through NoHo: Jakes for brunch, Herrel's for ice cream (I had burnt sugar and butter flavor), and then later a visit to Sweeties for candy and a visit with Ashley. This is why I love Northampton: you go to see one person and end up seeing everyone you know there! We lounged around on the Smith campus and walked to see our friend Eben's mural, who we also ran into later in the day! It was the perfect Sunday.
How was your weekend?
