I would like to introduce you to one of my favorite places:

It may sound odd to some that one of my favorite, most relaxing places is the local cemetery, but it is! This particular cemetery is just a few blocks from our apartment and I love walking through it on warm days. There was a warm breeze blowing off the ocean this evening, a perfect time for a stroll. Along the way I came across this great tree, when the wind blew, all the little pine cones shook and made the most amazing sound.
I felt like my long, black dress was very fitting for the somewhat somber surroundings. To add a little sparkle, I added these amazing feather and chain earrings from Noémiah Bijoux. I'm not usually an earrings person, but I love this pair. I've actually been wearing them a ton on the weekends, they go great with a simple jeans and tee-shirt ensemble. You should definitely check out Noémie's shop, she makes everything herself and has some great pieces!

i love cemetaries too. i think why people are drawn to them is because they are 100% guaranteed to be quiet and peaceful. my mum & i use to walk through cemetaries all of the time when i was younger, i find them very interesting!
I love the touch that the earrings give to the outfit. And the trees. :) Who would've thought that a cementery was so beautiful?
Everything about this outfit is awesome. The earrings, the silhouette, the hair, EVERYTHING! Also, that this is a great and calming place is not surprising. It looks beautiful and peaceful.
I wouldn't want to be there at night though!

wow, what a beautiful setting. i grew up across from an amazing, old cemetery as a child and it actually had a tree just like that one! i also found solace there... maybe it's the finality of it all? it just seems peaceful once you get over that initial fear! :)

i think cemeteries are one of the most peaceful places. i also find them really intriguing... every name on every gravestone, i want to know more! who were they, what did they do, were they married, did they have kids? of course, there's also such a rad eeriness to a cemetery that i love. i'm actually in the middle of planning a film project right now that takes place in a cemetery - i'm super excited about it! :)

I've always loved cemetaries too. Maybe it's morbid, but I like going to look at the graves and wonder about the people.
When I was little my aunt would take me to cemetaries to do "rubbings" of the gravestones sos we could keep the designs. Those are some of my favorite memories.
When I was growing up, I would walk past the most enchanting cemetery to my bus stop. It was always a favorite peaceful hangout for me because of the gorgeous trees and flowers. So, basically, I get your obsession!

Not weird at all - my favorite place in Boston is the Forrest Hills Cemetery - it's amazing. If you've never been you should check it out on your next visit.

Ooh I love that you did the photos in the cemetery! I don't think it's spooky at all. I love to take a walk through a cemetery from time to time, it's so quiet and peaceful there and the angel statues are beautiful photo motifs.
