Sorry for my absence yesterday, it seems I just can't catch a break this week. I can, however, catch a nasty cold which I have been laid up with for the past 48 hours. Not. Fun. This is what I wore- reluctantly- to work today. I went to the mall for the first time in two months on Sunday and found these cute shorts, which I think are the perfect winter/spring transitional piece. I admit that I've been feeling a little exasperated with winter, we were supposed to get this huge-mega storm, and all we got was nothing. I'm trying my hardest to appreciate every season, but so far February has been a downer. Wow, I'm kind of a downer too huh? To tell you the truth, I was excited to be snowed in and I'm a little jealous of all you DC'ers, New Yorkers, and Philadelphians will all your snow!

Anyway, this post has taken me so long to write because Chris and I are watching Zombieland. Has anyone else seen it? It's wonderful! (and distracting)
My "Delightful Dozen" post has been pushed till tomorrow because of my cold, so stay tuned!

Totally watched Zombieland with the boyfriend a few weeks ago. Seriously hilarious... Woody Harrelson kills me! I am smiling ear to ear just thinking about it.

Get well soon, and remember: Cardio, Beware of bathrooms, Bounty Paper Towels, and Enjoy the little things.

Hmm, this is so not what I look like when I'm sick! :) Those shorts are pretty perfect, they'll be great without tights in warmer weather, too!
PS: I must confess, you probably had some inspiration for my outfit you commented on recently. You just look so cute in skirts, I had to try it! :)

Feel better! I just got over THE nastiest cold that took me out for a couple of days. So I feel your pain.

At least you look cute!

I actually Red Boxed Zombieland Sunday night, it was hilarious! I love the way it was shot too, apparently a sequel is in the works as well.

Anyways, love the shorts! I also like the added color of the tights when everything else is a soft pallet.

Haha. You can HAVE the snow. In Delaware, we have a state of emergency and everything is closed. I've been complaining about how much snow we have. I've been Debbie Downer for the opposite reason.

Those shorts are awesome, and you're right, perfect for transitioning seasons!

Don't even get me started on Zombieland! My boyfriend saw it 5 times in theaters and just bought the DVD yesterday and we are going to watch it Saturday, so I hope it's good!

Hope you get better soon!

I am love-loving this look! The colours on your top half look so snugly and the berry tights are so perfect for this look!

wow I love this style, its simplicity and at the same time the little twist of dark color and grey kind of jeans of the shorts, its wonderful, between casual and smart and just perfect for any mid season day... well done! I also love the thrifted cardi, the shape is unusual, quite contemporary, it's not the kind of stuff you'd find in second hand shops in london, or maybe I haven't looked hard enough ;)
