Mini Sponsor Spotlight: ModCloth and Bluesville, USA!

January is such a cold month, it's hard to believe that we're already receiving mail about "Spring Previews" and reading about the spring collections, it's still 20 degrees outside! It's not too early however, to add some transitional pieces to your wardrobe. These are easily layered pieces that can give you the feeling of the coming season, while remaining appropriate for the one we're in.
ModCloth has been adding tons of cute, spring pieces their site as of late. While it's still frigid in New England, the weather is not stopping me from imagining my spring wardrobe! The sense of calm top would be perfect with dark skinny jeans, a caramel grandpa cardigan, and hiking inspired booties; The dot it down top would be perfect with shorts and tights with a camisole worn beneath; and the aglaia top would look beautiful with a high-waisted skirt, opaque tights, and heeled brogues. The best part of all these pieces? Come Spring, each one can easily be re-mixed for warmer weather!
Bluesville, USA also carries what should be a wardrobe staple for those wishing to re-mix: the collar! These are perfect for breathing some freshness into pieces you already own, just pin one to a dress, jacket, or top and watch your wardrobe transform. Pair the brown fur collar with a creme top, the white fur collar to a tired jacket, and the vintage beaded collar to a sheer blouse. A collar will make your tops feel brand new, even if it's been in your closet for ages.

Transitional pieces are easy to come by and can make the wait for Spring feel not quite so far off. Thank you for taking the time to check out my sponsors!
