Art Notes...

I'm seeing this on Saturday and I'm so excited!

For those of you in the Washington D.C. area, I highly suggest you visit the Corcoran Gallery of Art to view the William Eggleston retrospective William Eggleston: Democratic Camera, Photographs and Video, 19612008. Eggleston, the father of fine art color photography as we know it, created controversy in the early seventies for showing vivid images of common, everyday objects. The photography world, which up until that point had been dominated by black and white, has not been the same since.
