Happy Monday!

Happy Monday everyone! I don't think I've ever been happier for the start of a new week, I've got a coffee in front of me, and I'm ready to make the past seven days exactly that-- the past. This weekend had its ups and downs (we're still having some very serious issues with our cats), but on the brighter side of things: I have a new flash card for my camera, I saw a midnight showing of Rosemary's Baby, and I did a little retail (sale) therapy.

Did you have a nice weekend?

Yummm! Looks delicious! I'm spending Canadian Thanksgiving in my new home in Denver! Sad to be missing fam-jam time but thankful to be with my love in our new home!

Glad you are feeling positive for the start of a new week.

I had a great weekend seeing family and friends and then at about 16:30 on Sunday afternoon I got struck down with the dreaded lurgy! Now on the sofa, wrapped in a blanket, watching daytime TV! Definitely not a great start to my week! Hey ho!

Yay for a fresh start to a new week! Cat troubles and feeling under-the-weather are never fun. We have two cats: a young and always-wanting-to-play male and an old and sassy female. Things can get tense. I had never heard of the pheromone diffusers that you mentioned the other day, but I'm thinking we need to keep on one on hand for when they won't leave each other alone.

Oh and I love Rosemary's Baby. I watch always watch it once a year, always around this time :)

I spent this weekend sorting out the spout of unusual drama in my life so it was a lot more draining than I'm accustomed to.

I also haven't had coffee in about two weeks and now that I think about it maybe that's what's brought this all on.

Had a good weekend despite some bad news on Thursday. Friday I got my hair ombred. I'm pleased with the turn out. Later that night I met friends for dinner and then they took me to see Trisha Brown dance company which was amazing and inspired me to start dancing again. Saturday was my birthday. The husband brought me breakfast in bed. I had requested berry pie and cheese for breakfast and he came through complete with roses. We had a nice day together and then later night hosted a cocktail and dance party at our place which was so fun. Sunday I spent time with my family celebrating before hitting the road to NY. I hope you have a good week and cats get better asap.

I am craving a coffee now! I love midnight showings of movies, that sounds awesome. My weekend was lazy, but fun :)
