The Pretenders were constantly on the record player when I was growing up, and they remain one of my favorite female-fronted bands. Chrissie's voice is powerful and gritty, just like her style.

I grew up on the Pretenders and my dad always had a not so secret crush on Chrissie! She is fabulous! x
used to go to her restaurant in akron, ohio all of the time. so sad it closed :(

These are great shots. Chrissie Hynde is so cool. I remember my mom playing The Pretenders all the time when I was young too. :)
