Always lovely, always classic. She has that perfect tomboyish yet feminine look, plus she's married to Jacques Dutronc who I used to play on repeat 40 hours a week while working in a gift store in New Hampshire.
I've always loved her music and style. What a beautiful lady. I've had a cd of her music for 15 years now from and ex-boyfriend's father who gave it to me after I asked him one time wheat music he was playing on the stero. She so inspiring!
i never tire of listening to her soothing voice glide and croon.... i love 1960s french pop.
when it comes to french style, i am a huge brigitte bardot fan, she and i share a more similar body type, but i completely agree... the boyish charm of francois is so endearing!
Ooh, I adore her. Her autobiography (Le désespoir des singes) is a wonderful peek into that whole era and her life at the time. She's just as you'd imagine, simple, honest and with a straightforward integrity. I can't seem to find an English edition online, though.
This book came out just a couple of months ago -- it's collection of photos of her taken in the 60s and 70s by her only long-term boyfriend before Dutronc, a photographer: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Françoise-par-Jean-Marie-Périer/dp/2812304898/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1327124449&sr=1-1
Otherwise Dutronc and Hardy made a handsome guitar-playing kid, too: http://preview.tinyurl.com/7hgrj8m
