Quiz: What do you wear when you wake up and feel like every muscle in your body hates you? Answer: This. OK, so I may have been out a bit late last night, did you know the Swapaholics made Stuff Magazine's Hot 100? That's worth celebrating! I know a wide leg, floral jumpsuit is a fashion risk, but I think it's a risk worth taking, especially for $2. I went thrift shopping with my mom this past weekend, and found the 90's jackpot near where she lives in Maine. I love thrifting outside of the city, some of my most favorite items have come from charity shops and church basements. I also love that this entire outfit cost less than $20 (excluding the necklace which was gifted and the belt which was from an old job), it always feels really good to refresh my closet at a really low cost.
I wish I had more to say today, but I haven't had my coffee yet. So here's a question: what's the biggest fashion or style risk you've taken lately?

i don't really have a risk to share, but i'm digging the jumpsuit. you rock it.
p.s. my word verification was just "bad ess". which is close to "bad ass". even blogger thinks you're rockin it.
I have to say that as far as risks go, I don't have many. I am the type of person who will try on ten things before I leave the house, even if it makes me late. The worst thing I've done is going outside in my PJs to take care of the garbage....so, I guess that would be my risk.
Also, I like the jumpsuit...at first I thought it was a dress and I didn't like it as much...but as a jumpsuit, it's sweet! :)

Ooh thats a really fun outfit, love the colours :)
I think I've been reading too many backposts of fashiontoast because last night I broke out some old acid wash denim.. and I liked it! It was the first chilly night we've had in a while, so I considered it the perfect opportunity.
I wish I could see how it moves, but I actually am into the jumpsuit!

I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to wear a jumpsuit! But I did rock a black and white striped blazer (ala Beetlejuice) the other day, which was pretty risky for me!

Im sitting right next to you and thought that was a skirt all day!
Man, that looks really, really good on you!
I'm contemplating a pair of leopard print jeans and I'm thisclose to buying but also nervous I'll look ridiculous.
This jumpsuit is such a great statement piece - and I am oh so impressed you found it while thrifting! Isn't it amazing what you can sometimes find rummaging through a local thrift store? You look lovely - the whole outfit is adorable!

i applaud you for wearing and rocking that jumpsuit. i could do no such thing! looks awesome, girl!
that looks so good! are you doing any secial work outs or diets to stay thin and if so is it for your weddings specifically?
If only I could find such an amazing jumpsuit!
Oooh I love your jumpsuit! I'm not really sure about fashion risks, usually once I get the courage to war something I just start wearing it all the time. Like at first I was scared to wear high waisted shorts, but now they are practically all I wear.

I couldn't even tell it was a jumpsuit until you said something! It looks like a maxi dress! Ha. You look great in it!
OH man. So my mom and I had matching floral jumpsuits just like this when I was in first grade. There is photographical evidence somewhere. It was my favorite thing ever. I so wish my mom kept her wardrobe from that era, I'd love to try to pull it off now. You wear the look well!

i actually wore a polka dotted jumpsuit today and felt like that was kind of risky for me. at first, i thought this was an amazing maxi dress, but i'm even more in love with it being a jumpsuit.
This floral jumpsuit is amazing!!! I love thrifting, ph the treasures!
I definitely made a pair of baggy floral pants that have drawstrings at the hem and they are crazy! Haven't worn them yet!
The floral splash is stunning! And your hair is always my favorite treasure to your blog x

Your hair and style are absolutely amazing! I've been a huge fan of your blog for awhile now, and after reading yours and all the other "Deligtful Dozen" blogs, I was inspired to take the plunge and start my own! (unpetitchatblanc.blogspot.com)
Any tips for someone just starting out?

I'm amazed by your gorgeous long hair!
My risk was taken this morning! I was going to a missionary farewell for a boy I haven’t seen in three years...I’ve changed a lot since then and wanted an outfit that showed off my current style...so I paired a seafoam and navy rugby striped cardi with a high-waisted floral skirt and brown heels...luckily the colors matched up well enough and I got a lot of compliments!
Holymoly, that jumpsuit is AMAZING. And $2?! Amazing x2. You look fantastic! <3
wow, beautiful pictures <3
