Shirt: J.Crew Men's section ($9 sale... seriously)
Hi Riser Jeans: Madewell ($? on sale)
VIntage shoes c/o Haberdash Vintage
Necklace: Black Sparrow (gift)
Bag: Thrifted ($10)
I post a lot of very dressy outfits on here, and while all of those are outfits that I do wear, I sometimes feel as though it's not an exact representation of my every-day style. This is the kind of outfit that I am found most often in, somewhat boyish, and comfortable but pulled together. I love men's button-up shirts, they are probably the most common item in my wardrobe. Since I'm rather flat-chested, I dislike the darts sewn into women's shirts and find men's to be more flattering and comfortable. This madras shirt from J.Crew is my favorite at the moment. It's super soft and comprised of my favorite go-to colors. This is what I wear when I'm out running errands or working from home (like yesterday).

Are you having a good Tuesday?

This is almost exactly what I wore today except I tucked my shirt in and it had a little bit more blue in it.
So comfy! I love seeing a more casual look once in a while, I'm the same way. And thanks for the advice on the local swap - definitely something to think about once i get through wedding planning!

Love the men's shirt! I love wearing my husband's clothes. Somehow they're more comfortable. :) Great laid-back, pulled-together look!

Such a fun look! I've actually got a similar shirt in my closet that I haven't gotten around to wearing yet. I love plaid!
Great look! Also you have some kick ass hair. Seriously.
cute. i agree, mens shirts are always so comfy. i stole my boyfriend's flannel when he got deployed and its some of my favorite things to wear, for many reasons.
I love to wear men's button downs, but I've actually found that boys shirts fit really well too! I like to tuck them into skirts, but the length of yours looks great over jeans.

I like the tomboy looks as much as the more dressed up looks! It's great to be able to do both, especially if some days you work from home or the weather is gloomy :)

Outfits like this one are what I like best on you! This totally fits your type. Well, at least I think it does because of your (beautiful) hair, complexion, the piercing and all.
You look really cool and effortlessly casual chic and that's what an everyday outfit should be. And your hair! Did I mention that it's beautiful? ;)
Your hair has the best colors right now! So pretty. I love the shirt too - looks very comfy and soft
great outfit! So simple and styleish!

The way your hair looks is making me want to start straightening my hair again. Love it!
Love this outfit! Casual chic! XOXO, www.NatalyasCloset.com
You look really cute in your casual outfit! Those shoes are great and so is your button-up shirt!
Yep, I feel I misrepresent myself too. I wore something like this at least four days last week! Love it! Especially with your ever-special claw necklace.
I have to say I completely agree- I dislike darts sewn into my shirts as well. Not even for being flat chested, but I don't like the way it makes the fabric sit and I don't think there is a real need for it.
i love men's button up shirts as well. so comfy and cute! this is a great look!
Love this casual outfit! I reeeally like those shoes especially. And major props for finding that mens J. Crew shirt! I think it's good to see outfits like this that are very wearable/re-creatable for readers.
you have such beautiful hair!
& you're right, this outfit looks comfy yet put together! I'd love to try an outfit like this, but the southern heat will probably prevent me from trying it any earlier than october :/ haha
You're making me miss my bangs with these photos though we might be twins when it comes to length. love it!
love those shoes...chic!

I like madras plaids and I always like it when bloggers post their "everyday" outfits. I'm not very big up top either, but had never pondered the darts problem before...
Your hair is so gorgeous!! And awesome shirt, what a steal! :)
xx Laura
