Well, we're back to the doom and gloom of "April Showers", hopefully this rain means May flowers. At least it's not snowing (I hear it is in Maine)! I think because of the changing season, I've had a hard time taking outfit photos lately (hence last week's slew of "what i've been up to" photos). These photos took two people, and two days to take. Sad I know. Anyway, I mentioned in Friday's post that I made a stop at Madewell while in Boston, this is what I got. I've been obsessed with these linen t-shirts, and I stocked up with a few different colors in anticipation of hot summer days. I had also had my eye on this cute polkadot skirt for awhile, and couldn't resist when I found it on sale. There are very few places I like to shop outside of online and thrift stores, Madewell is one of those places. This is what I'm wearing to work today.
Did you have a nice weekend? I did, and a very busy one! On Friday, Chris and I went to see True Grit, which was wonderful and a nice contrast to the original John Wayne adaptation. On Saturday I went thrift shopping and had dinner with friends, and on Sunday Chris and I met up with Punky, Thais, and Adam, for some pancakes and flea market shopping. I got a pair of driving gloves and a tapestry for our couch. You can go to Punky's blog to see photos, because I've also been pretty bad at documenting our weekends lately. My mom also came down Sunday afternoon and I showed her around the Shipbuilding Museum (which is open for the season, stop by and say HI!), and watched 127 Hours, which was good but made me cringe.

What a gorgeous skirt, it looks so flowy. This outfit post is inspiring for me because lately this cold weather has been making me dress in nothing but hoodies and jeans. Blah. I swear rust tights have never looked so good. You make me want to buy some! Suprisingly thats one color of tights I dont already own! And I love the tshirt and skirt, they both look so good on you and that tee looks so comfortable. I dont know if anything is better than a soft tshirt. Ah, I have been too scared to see 127 hours! I love the tassels on your necklace! Anything linen always reminds me of summer; stocking up on a few of those tees was a good idea. Whenever I find one that I like (fabric and cut), I tend to pick up a few. I wear t-shirts with almost everything!
