March 23, 2011: Khaki, Navy, and Brown

Trench: Forever 21 ($19)
Belt: J.Crew Outlet (gift)
Necklace: Vintage ($5)
Tights: American Apparel
Like yesterday's dress, this little number has been hanging on my wall for a few weeks now, waiting for the warmer weather to show it's face. Well, that warmer weather seems to be a little gun shy, so I'm forcing it. And can I tell you, if there's one thing I'm sick of more than cold, it's tights. I probably sound like a broken record, because all I want is to just slip on some flip flops and go, not think about how many layers I need today. Anyways, I love this outfit, the animal print makes me happy, like I'm wearing animal crackers. I can't wait to pair this double strap dress with cool wedges and a straw hat this summer.

I'm volunteering at the museum again this morning and then my Mom is visiting this afternoon, so I'm going to keep things short. Are you having a good week?

I love the pattern too! And I feel you about the tights. . . we had a week of lovely sun and temperatures, and then it snowed again. I'm just about ready to throw out all my boots, I can't wait to bust out my summer shoes! Take care.

Oh how fun to volunteer at a museum. Have you already said which one? That's a great animal cracker dress. :) & I'm so with you on the flip flops. Last night I had to seriously talk myself out of wearing sandals out. Truly truly ready to pack tights and sweaters and boots away.

Love pretty much everything about this outfit. The trench is classic, but the shorter sleeves give it a twist, and the print of that dress is just the right amount of whimsical.

Tights drive me crazy at this time of year... mine always seem to have stretched out and gotten to that falling-down stage, and I don't want to buy new ones in March! This outfit is lovely... I just love all the little animals!

So in love with that dress! That print is TOO CUTE. I like how you kept the animal theme going with the bird bracelet. And believe me I feel the same way about tights at this point... we had a spring snow today unfortunately.

I can sympathize, I live in Portland and if it rains one more day (which it will, obviously) I am going to lose it!
