Days of quiet

Scarf: Swapped
Sweater (dress): AA
Jeans: J.Crew ($20)
Necklace: Black Sparrow (gift)
Boots: Frye, (Swapped)
This is my go-to, at-home outfit. I love it when an outfit can look put-together, but still remain comfortable. These photos are actually from last week, and for some reason I just never posted them. This day was so cold, it was completely impossible to even step outside. I usually don't like to take outfit photos indoors, but the light in our living room was so pretty. To keep warm I donned a simple grey sweater-vest, scarf and jeans.

These boots are by far the best thing I've ever swapped. I had no idea they were from Frye until I got home from National Swap Day and inspected them, what a find! They're super comfortable and I love just being able to pull them on and go. I'm really looking forward to styling them with pretty spring dresses when the weather gets warmer.
Happy Thursday!

Love this look! I'm always interested in the more casual looks my favorite fashion bloggers put together, because it really is more work to still look chic when rockin' casual wear.

'put-together' / comfortable is what I strive for every day! Love this, I just may wear something similar to work tomorrow for casual Friday!
Thanks for the inspiration.

OH MAN YOU ARE SO LUCKY!
Swapped Frye boots?! Man, and I thought the boots I scored at the swap were sweet.

I've been finding this winter that grey and black are my go-to colors, and maybe it's just me, but I think that even in their simplest most basic form, they never disappoint and always make an outfit I'm pleased with.

it's too cold to take pictures outside here too. I've been keeping to my living room, stairwell, and local taxidermy museum.

Love this outfit! You should work as a stylist, it would suit you so well. I think your art studies will be helpful too, because both art and fashion require a visual mind. Which you have.

oh my gosh. I LOVE those boots. And I am SOOO jealous. The ones I wanted like them sold out! But I shall not cry. I will find my pair (perhaps swap them?). I know I will.

And yes, this outfit is lovely perfection. And the lighting is also very beautiful. I think I could wear this ensemble avec my bump. I like it when outfits are bumpable!
