Simple Thrift Giveaway!


This week's giveaway comes to us from the sweetest Etsy shop: Simple Thrift! Gwen is offering one lucky reader a $25 dollar credit to her shop, which is chock full of vintage-goodness.

I've been searching and searching for some non-hiker-esque leather ankle boots I can wear around campus to keep the cold and the wet off (Utah doesn't claim "the best snow on earth" for nothing!) and her adorable cream leather granny boots are calling my name. I'm currently trying to freshen up a very neutral work wardrobe with some bold color while still being professionally appropriate. It's a huge challenge!

So many style bloggers are exploring yellow this season, so when I saw the vintage MUSTARD YELLOW wool blazer, I knew it would be my pick! It is a perfect blend of sharp, smart suiting and bold color. I picture it over black chinos or a lacy gray dress!

It would have to be the pink bliss gown. I have been obsessed with 80's prom dresses since I was 16 and I got my first one at the neighborhood thrift store. I still have it and it is very similar in style style to this one but not as detailed-the fabric is a blue/black lurex. Anyway, this dress is gorgeous:)

Ohhh so many great finds!! In choosing one (only 1!?!?) item, I think I'd go for the vintage red wool, wooden button down coat...perfect for frosty Chicago winters!

If i won I would definitely put the money towards the wonderful vintage mustard yellow wool blazer. I live in Ohio where the winters bring snow, snow, and more snow. This yellow blazer would be perfect for layering with chunky knits and scarves. Plus what is better then standing out against a white backdrop when where a school bus yellow!?
