Sometimes, outfit shots just don't come out. Today was one of those days, which was a bummer. However, I was really happy with the detail shots of my shoes (below) which is why I'm posting. These shoes are amazing and I cannot WAIT to wear them this fall! To be honest, this summer has been kind of rough, not working full time has put me in a bit of a style rut and I'm finding myself pining for cooler weather so I can layer. I always do this this time of year, wish summer away, and I hate to do it, but when it's 90 degrees F outside and even hotter in my apartment, I really can't help it!
See, aren't they incredible? Like a 60's dream, I can't wait to wear them with little mod mini dresses and skirts come Autumn. I need to lay off the shoes, I'm running out of space in my closet. I'll be posting shoes this week to Shop Orchid's Closet, in order to free up some much needed space.
I'm keeping things short and sweet today, I've got some work to do and I'm afraid that if i keep typing I'll share the REALLY EXCITING NEWS that I can't wait to share with all of you this week! It's killing me to keep this a secret! Gahhh!

ohmygosh, you look completely adorable today. I can relate about the ironing thing, I've been keeping away from certain things in my closet because I don't want to iron them! I should probably just take them all out and have an ironing day and just get it over with; I'm missing a bunch of cute things. And, I want the fall too (I hate to admit it) I try to enjoy all seasons, but fall is by far my favorite.
I'm normally not into irregular choice shoes cause sometimes they're a little TOO weird, but these are amazing!

The shoe shots are fantastic. Good to see that your outfit photo expedition wasn't a complete bust. It's always such a disappointment to go over your own outfit pictures and realize that it was a complete bust!

The color combination on those shoes are so interesting. When I started looking at them, I only sort of liked them... but the longer I looked and the closer the shots got the more I seemed to like them til I'm practically bursting at the seems with love for them!

I love irregular choice heels so much, but sometimes they can be really hard to coordinate with other clothes. They are usually so attention-grabbing! They look great with the yellow dress, though.

Haha,I'm just the same... never ever ironing my clothes, BUT I've simply decided, it's "the look" whenever my dress/shirts are crinkled- not sure mummy thinks the same though!
