Today is one of those days when I am just so happy I have some photos from my archive to post. I am feeling less than stellar and apparently the weather is down in the dumps too, it seriously feels like October outside right now. I've shut my windows and am drinking tea, even my cats are in hibernation mode, it was all I could do on my lunch break to get them to uncurl themselves from their little nest and hang out with me (yeah, I know how that statement sounds. I'm a cat-lady.).

Eh, anyways. I did really wear this outfit...it was just last week! I didn't post this outfit originally, because it's not my favorite ensemble (in retrospect, I would have changed the shoes) but many of you asked what dress I was wearing in the photo I posted from my brother's graduation, and it's this one! I've posted it a few times before, it's kind of my go-to dress for family functions. It's fun, but doesn't make my family member's scratch their heads in confusion. It's also what some consider to be an appropriate length, although i usually like my dresses a little shorter.
Lately I've been experimenting with parting my hair down the middle and have found that when I curl it outwards it looks more Farrah, and less middle-school-dork (middle school was the last time I parted my hair down the middle, I was also a huge unfortunate dork).

Also, I got a ton of questions about the kind of curler I used in this post, I use a 1" Hot Tools curling iron whenever I curl my hair. I have no idea where it came from, I'm pretty sure my mom bought it in the early 90's...no joke. I've noticed that more recent models don't get as hot, this curler gets hot as hell and is probably why they don't make them like this anymore. It's dangerous, but it works.
