Cinnamon girl

I've been watching a lot of old Sex and the City lately, been very inspired by Carrie's hair.
Top: H&M (5.90)
Jeans: BDG from Urban Outfitters (gift)
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell (40.00)
Necklace: Dolly and Boy
Bracelets: gifts from various grandparents
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was extremely relaxing but unbelievably rainy, hence no photos today. The rain finally stopped this morning and it ended up being a beautiful day. I'm so excited for daylight savings time, it's great getting home after work and still having a good amount of sunlight left.
I opted for comfort today, I knew I would be sitting in my office all day... actually that's a total lie... I'm wearing this because I woke up 30 minutes before I had to be at work!
I hope everyone had a great weekend! I'm off to do super secret blogg-y things and watch MST-3K!

xoxo

This is my first ever comment on your blog...(i think! not quite sure) and I must say that your blog has become one of my favorites!! Im glad I finally mustered up the courage to leave a comment and i think it might have been due to the sex and city reference!

I am a huge Sex and City Fan and I actually love Carrie's short curly hair in the beginning of season 6. I was tempted to perm it to try and get that "Carrie-esque" type of hair. But in this blog post you make it work and your hair is lovely!! looking at your pictures make me miss my long hair!!

Love the Jeffrey Campbell shoes!!

Julie, that first photo is truly stunning. You look ethereal and just gorgeous. Oh, and YES to MST-3K! My absolute hands-down fave is Pod People (I know I'm exposing my nerdiness here, but you brought it up!).

your hair looks so nice with so much volume =) love your shoes!

love the drapery of your top. I've always seen day light saving time as losing an hour of sleep, but perhaps viewing it as gaining an hour of sun is much more optimistic :)

oh, Carrie's hair evolution is so fascinating. I personally loved her short, curly bob that she rocked in season 4 I believe (don't quote me- haha)

I can see her first season hair on you for sure- only better!

I just got that top a few weeks ago and am pretty into it... I'm sure it's the most comfortable item of clothing I own- I love how you styled it.

Despite being rushed, you look fabulous! There is just something about big shirts worn right. I like that hair-do! I've tried it before but have felt like I look too Lord-of-the-Rings-y (this spurred by the fact that people tell me that even if I DON'T wear my hair like that). You look so good though I might give it another whirl!

Beautiful light in the photos, your hair is so pretty and long,,, eheh super girly comment... but still there's something so utterly stylish about the outfit, it might be the lack of premeditated thought but it works , simple but chic

have a wonderful week, reading as always :)
