So, one of the main reasons I started this blog was because I was looking to connect with other people who had a similar interest in fashion as myself. The last eight months have been such a positive experience, I've "met" and connected with so many bloggers from across the US and internationally that I would have never been connected to otherwise. So when the idea was brought up to start a small group that took that idea of community and collaboration one step further by doing organized clothing swaps, I jumped at the opportunity.
So without further adieu I would like to introduce you all to "The Delightful Dozen" named in recognition of the brains behind the operation: Delightfully Tacky. What I find so cool about this group of girls is that we are all unique in our sizes, shapes, style of writing, and above all: location. Some of us live in warmer climates, and some of us live in Alaska. We'll be posting lots of photos of how we individually style pieces, and it will be so neat to see how we all put our own spin on the same piece. You're probably already familiar with most of these stylish girls but here are their links just in case!
We have, starting from top left, Jenn from Sally Jane Vintage, Jen from Jen Loves Kev, Mel from Idée Géniale, Rebecca from The Clothes Horse, Krystal from This Time Tomorrow, Indiana from Adored Austin, Julie from Orchid Grey (ha! that's me!), Kristin from Leproust Vintage, Tieka from Selective Potential, Jessica from What I Wore, Erin from Calivintage and Delightfully Tacky!
We have a lot planned, the first swap will be with a shirt kindly donated by Shop Ruche. I received it in the mail this weekend and have an outfit planned for tomorrow.
Be sure to follow us on Facebook !

I read a lot of these blogs, and I must say that all of them have such wonderful style! I started blogging for that reason as well, and in this journey I've met so many wonderful people I wonder why I didn't start blogging before!

How fun is this?! I just recently started looking into the whole fashion-y blog world--and the more I look, the more fun I find it is! I started my own blog, and am working on getting it off the ground. It's been a week since my last post, and it looks like this delightful group posts most every day..I'd better get on it! Would love to join in with something like this one of these days!
