well I just bought me a brand new box of matches

Tee-Shirt: J.Crew outlet (15.00)
Skirt: Thrifted (2.00)
Belt: Vintage thrifted (3.00)
Sunnies: Betsey Johnson via TjMaxx (14.99)
Tights: TjMaxx (4.99)
Shoes: Target (6.99)
Human Skull Necklace: H&M (9.00)
Bird Skull Necklace: courtesy of Dolly and Boy
I may choose to be slouchy on the weekends, but nothing beats the perfect pencil skirt for work! This vintage suede number is one of my favorites, I found it at a Goodwill in Harrison, ME this fall while traveling for work- it lends the perfect amount of '60's mod to any conglomeration without being too costume-y.
I love these two necklaces together, being skulls I like that they're a little bad ass but still abstract enough to wear to work. The little bird skull necklace was made by the lovely Courtney of Dolly and Boy Jewelry. It's actually a melted down brass bullet, how cool is that?
This hairstyle has been my go-to lately when my hair needs washing and I don't have time. It's actually very simple and I'll be showing you a couple versions in a hair tutorial coming on Friday! I'm hoping to make How-to's a regular thing on here. A lot of people have asked me about my hair and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't avoiding the subject. It's pretty involved and I really want to get my scanner up and running so I can show you past styles I've had.

I absolutely love your hairdos.. I can't seem to find a blogger who's so into big hair and different accessories as I am.
It would be awesome if you decided to post some tutorials in the future *wink, wink*

Hot! I LOVE it!

Sadly, I have like two strands of wispy blond hair, so I can't do fun styles like that one, or most of your 'do's, but I do love seeing them!

This is such a lovely blog! I think I've visited here once or twice before, and I love your style. I attended a small liberal arts school just outside Boston, so I'm pretty sure I know which art school you work at... I'm trying to connect with other Boston-area fashion bloggers and have happily added you to my blogroll. :) If you get a chance to stop by my blog, be sure to enter my handbag giveaway!

I really like this outfit, and I hope you do go ahead and make those How-Tos! Your hairstyles are very refreshing, since it seems like everyone I know now just flat irons their hair everyday.

I love the animal print with the stripe shirt. I ordered a very similar top from Forever 21, and scored a giraffe print belt at Buffalo Exchange recently. You are so right about the black skirt, and I think it's the center piece of your outfit. It brings the wild elements (stripes, skulls, and animal print) to a common ground.

Love this outfit! You're the master of the "skirt and belt with tucked in top" look, of which I'm a major fan. I really like the subtle flashes of leopard, too. Well done!

fab outfit! i have the same skull necklace from H&M and have worn it to work too (tho most of the girls in my office are way more conservative!). I also have funky betsey johnston sunnies i got from tk maxx (its called tk in the UK). I am quite a new reader of ur blog and i love it! I was in Boston in the Summer of 2008 and my b/f and i fell in love with the place. i bought my fave ever dress from Modern Mille in Salem!
