Tights: Wal-Mart (6.00)
Shoes: Urban Outfitters (24.00 sale)
Gold Bracelet: Gift

It was so cold out today, I'm so glad Chris was around to take photos because I don't think I could have mustered up the motivation to set up my tripod otherwise. As much as I love winter fabrics and layering, I hate having to photograph myself when it's cold out!
This is one of my favorite dresses, every time I wear it, I feel like a little doll. I've said this before too: I love the print. It reminds me of a drawing or painting. I've recently re-discovered a few pairs of forgotten shoes, this pair included. I don't wear them tons but I love the wooden heel and dark brown color.
On another note, I forgot to mention a few changes I"ve made to Orchid Grey! You can now follow me through BlogLovin, which is really exciting- I was just introduced to this blog reader and I really love how it displays the blogs you follow- all very neat and easy to read. I also added a "Boston Bloggers" blog roll which I am still working on. Most of the Boston bloggers listed are girls that I met at the Boston Fashion Blogger Meet-Up a few weeks ago, and I finally got around to adding them to my blog roll (which I said I would do two weeks ago). I'm planning some exciting things for Orchid Grey in 2010, and I'm glad I've gotten off to a good start. I also have a fun surprise happening tomorrow, so stay tuned!
For those of you whose questions I haven't answered yet, don't worry I haven't forgotten! I'm planning to finish my Q&A posts next week!

PS- I know I've been really and at commenting back lately, I'm sorry.
Work has been crazy and I'm a little overwhelmed.
I'll be spending my weekend playing catch up, I promise!
Thank you all for your sweet words!

LOOVEEE that dress! This is one of my favorite outfits ever, i think.
you're helping me almost forget that it's the dead of winter, and i love the way the twirl in your hair matches the twirls on your dress. hope it stays sunny up there!
Love the color combo!! I am a huge fan of anytime yellow is matched with a red or purple type color.
Looking at your pictures makes me feel warmer and helps me forget about this cold weather we are all having.

I cant get over how your hair matches the dress, beautiful!
Lovely winter look! And the hair makes me miss my long curls. This makes me want to wear something besides the color combination of black, red, and/or blue tomorrow!
I love the dress and how you styled it!

Such a cute dress and it looks great paired with the plum (?) tights! And i love Modern Millie's in Salem. I used to work in Salem and that was always a favorite place of mine to go to during my lunch break. So need to go back sometime.

Alright Woman, after seeing this post I am DEMANDING a hair tutorial!!! :-)
Such a pretty outfit and and your hair is so pretty. Looking forward to these tutorials :)
On a side note: I see your city is coping with the snow well and the road is clear. In London, we've had a few inches of snow and our town has already run out of grit so most of the schools are closed and public transport is not running.. *sigh*
oh i'm in love with your hair, so gorgeous!!
Fancy Pants
What a precious dress! Great with the purple tights. Wish I could see a close-up of the shoes, they look amazing!

please please pleeeeeease do a tutorial on how you did this hair style! it is so creative and looks wonderful!!!
ahh your hair swirl is so amazing. Just like everyone else on here I love it!
oh that last comment was from me (jenloveskev) sorry I have been forgetting to write my name so you know.
I loved the hair so much that I did something similar with my hair last night! I sometimes do '40's style victory rolls, but it's harder in the winter since they don't fit under a hat. The flat roll is a genius alternative!
I love how your victory roll mirrors the pattern on your dress very cute
Your dress is so beautiful, and so is your hair. Was that hard to do? Annie.
How do you do your hair like that?!?! It's amazing! I have kinda similar hair to yours but I'm growing out my layers so I can do more crazy stuff with it!
