Once upon a time it wasn't 10 degrees...

Top: Hand-Me-Down from Adria
Skirt: Target (16.99)
Belt: from a dress
Tights: Target (5.00)
Shoes: Target (6.99)
So, this outfit is from way back on Tuesday (two days ago?) when the weather was a balmy 45 degrees. The thought of standing outside in a short sleeved silk top makes me want to cringe now that its 10 degrees. That's right, 10. Gross. And there isn't even snow on the ground to make it all worth it.
I don't have much to say about this outfit, except for the fact that it was really comfortable. I could live in dresses, skirts, and flats. Far more comfortable than jeans, I say. I also really like this top that my friend Adria so kindly purged from her closet. It has the NYC skyline on it!
I've gotten a lot of questions about my hair recently, I'll be posting some tutorials (along with answers to your other questions) starting tomorrow! So, stay tuned! And stay warm!

i'm really excited to read your hair tutorial! us long haired girls need to stick together, although youre blond hairs are sooooo much pretty than mine. and hey that black ruffled skirt is pretty awesome.
i really love this look! it's so cute how the skyline is peeking out from beneath your skirt. and you do have some very covetable hair!
i love the different shades of blue! it's not even contrasting each other...love the skirt too. i wish i can wear my hair like that. but with the warm weather here, i'd look like a rug at the end of the day...hehe.
Such a cute outfit!! And I wish it would snow!!:)
Cute outfit, and I totally second that dresses/skirts are better than jeans. I swear that they are warmer in the winter, and cooler than the summer.
Totally loving the blue tights.
Amazing blues, you look lovely!
that shade of blue is stunning (and matches the graffiti!!). and i adore the mini skyline on your shirt near your adorable ruffle skirt :)
I'm so in love with those tights.. and I love that skirt. I tried one on that looked exactly like that from Urban that was almost double the price! Glad I didn't get it.. now I'm going to have to make a Target run! I love how you don't wear everything designer and yet look 10000x more amazing than some of the girls that dress in only designer. It's so inspiring!
It's 10 degrees? Wowza thats freezing! This outfit is cute, that shirt is awesome! I like all the blue.
Oh gosh, 45 degrees? That sounds balmy! It's been freezing in Chicago lately, too. I've been seriously struggling to take outfit pictures outside.
I just love this outfit. Every time you wear this top I just know I'll love the resulting outfit!
could your hair be more fabulous lately??
GORGEOUS.
Nothing like electric blue in the winter! Holy icicles, Batman! It was cold today. I had some thin leggings on to start off with. Not a good life choice. Anyhow, it was great to meet you at the blogger mix! I was inspired to revive my blog...that, and I have a camera.

You are doing one of my favorite outfit combos! I have been really loving short high waist skirts, and printed t-shirts. Those blue tights are pretty great, cancel that, really great! I am excited to read your hair tutorial as well!

I love this, the black continuation into the skirt makes it look like a dress. The skyline is so pretty!

Very cute. I'm inspired, because I've been seeing those skirts everywhere, and thought they were really pretty but I've been scared to actually try one. Now I might have to!
